Welcome
Happy Birthday - this is the 50th edition! ;-)
Hi everyone,
Hope all is well and that you're keeping safe. Like every edition of this newsletter, you'll find a brand new shiny PR/Communication tool below.
Some of you might know I work as an Emergency Risk Communication Consultant. Last week I sat down and wrote an article on LinkedIn about the hectic times since COVID-19 turned from an epidemic to a pandemic.
A bit of an introspection but also, and definitely, a salute to my tireless colleagues across the globe. Have a look here and don't hesitate to comment and let me know how you've been faring.
Enjoy - and if you like the newsletter, share it with colleagues ;-)

Tool

This is the new tool for your arsenal
Notion - Your new workspace that does it all.
Notion is a highly flexible online environment - a wiki, relational database and note taking app all in one including Kanban boards, tables, lists and unlimited connections to each piece of data your record.
What does it do?
Notion allows you to add any type of data (text, images, files etc...) to your workspace and then apply templates (or create them) to organise everything - for yourself or together with your team.
PR Application?
Have media list? Organise it and manage it as a real CRM. Have notes and documents? Again, create intelligent lists and folders - link and organise them with tags. Manage communication projects & teams? Set up a project based environment where you can track work, tasks, and pieces of relevant information.
Keep everyone aligned with a shared project roadmap. Get tasks out of your head and into a database that fits your team's process. Define and add your own database properties to create your ideal workflow. View data however is most useful — as a table, board, calendar, or filtered by properties.
The possibilities are endless. One advantage of Notion is their users; people from different professional horizons (including Communicators and Marketeers) share their already developed "workflow templates" for you to copy and use.
Want to organise the production of a podcast or video? There's a Notion template for that. Need to work with the Eisenhower matrix? Again, the templates exist.
I have seen complete companies run on Notion and they do so efficiently. Try it, it can only improve your workflow and your team's productivity!

- And there is an enterprise plan for companies who want to scale
